Welcome to the links and resources page. This is where I will share links, resources, and ocasional commentary on various Catholic and Christian media that I come across via the internet, periodicals, books, or word of mouth. I am a firm believer in sharing what has been shared with me so that we may grow in spiritual intellect and thus, in faith. God Bless.

020322: Breaking in the Habit with Fr. Casey Cole, OFM. Most Common Problems I See In Confession (and how to fix it). Like Fr. Mike Schmitz, I believe Fr. Casey Cole is a blessing sent by God. Both priests are performing a great service to God and His church (to His people) by sharing the faith in ways most young people can understand, including old codgers like myself. I have viewed several YouTube videos about confession in the past, however, none were as spot on (while laced with a bit of humor) as Fr. Casey's presentation about the Sacrament of reconciliation. I revel in Father's role-playing abilities and strongly recommend watching this video.

020322 Quote: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Have faith in God." (--Fr. Leo Morales, St. Thomas More, Tulsa, Oklahoma.) I have heard this quote many times before, but never like I "heard it" today. 'Do not let your hearts be troubled. Have faith in God.'  It reminds me of what Jesus said about the birds in Matthew 6:26 - Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they? (USCCB, 2022). In this verse, Jesus tells his followers not to be anxious about food, but to rely on God as the birds, who are worth far less than people, but who are fully provided for. How true is that for us? Let's not let our hearts be troubled. Let's have the faith and trust of a child; the faith of a mustard seed. Let's have faith in God!!!
